Are terry towels printable with boil-proof durability?
This question was the focus during the development of Floringo's "Beauty-Line Print" quality, with a clear result: a wide printed border on pleasantly soft, walk-terry towels offers plenty of space for advertising that can withstand boil-wash temperatures.
This means nothing less than that motifs can be printed into the border with photo-like accuracy, including shading according to CMYK, in up to 296 color tones. The fabric and pile of the towel remain 100% cotton, ensuring excellent absorbency and skin-friendliness.
Popular in the promotional products trade – blank from stock for printers
Unsurprisingly, these towels are particularly popular with sports clubs, for events, and for sponsoring. The "Best-Print" towels are therefore offered in typical club colors and suitable sizes for each specific use. Fitness towels (30x120 cm) as well as hand and bath towels (50x100 cm and 70x140 cm) are especially sought after.
Particularly popular with the promotional products trade and printing shops, Floringo offers these towels in several options: available from stock as blanks for self-printing in the "Beauty-Line Print 400" series, in the colors White, Pigeon Grey, and Black, with a weight of 400 g/m².
Naturally, the towels can be dyed according to specifications (e.g., Pantone) and printed directly at the factory by Floringo. Other qualities and sizes, such as beach towels (100x180 cm), are also feasible, starting at a minimum order quantity of 250 pieces. Floringo recommends weights of 400, 450, or 500 g/m².
A recommendation from a Dutch textile printer: "I have been ordering your Best-Print towels for years. Most of them go to sports clubs that wash them almost daily. I've often been told they've never had towels that dry so well and last so long." For everyone who values the environment and natural skin compatibility: The towels are produced sustainably at every stage, "Made-in-Green." More information at www.floringo.de.
High-quality printed border with boil-proof color fixation
For those interested, here are some technical details regarding the fibers and printing: The surface of the particularly tear-resistant yet soft border consists of high-quality polyester fibers. It is ideal for transfer and sublimation printing, as this synthetic fiber has a high affinity for thermal transfer dyes. The high temperature required for fixing the print softens the polyester fiber and opens it up for the color pigments: as it cools, the synthetic fiber closes again, sealing the transferred motif. The color can then no longer be released.
It’s hard to believe! That is why the print is safe from fading even during a boil wash. The difference is clarified by the terms "sublimation" and "lamination": while in sublimation the dye penetrates and is enclosed within the fiber, lamination only colors the surface of the respective fiber.
