OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN
The OEKO-TEX® Association awards this label to textiles from environmentally friendly and socially responsible production. Certified facilities must:
- comply with high ecological standards,
- provide proof of fair and safe working conditions,
- present a wastewater and chemical management system.
Since all of our production partners are OEKO-TEX® STeP certified, we can produce many of our terry towels and bathrobes according to OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN standards.
Green Button (Grüner Knopf)
The Green Button is a government-run seal in Germany. It covers not only demonstrably sustainable textile production but also the due diligence processes of the companies. In concrete terms, this "double safety net" means:
Approved raw materials: Only fibers certified according to specific seals such as Fairtrade Cotton or CmiA.
Processing standards: Only facilities with recognized social and environmental standards such as GOTS or OEKO-TEX® STeP may participate.
Corporate responsibility: The Green Button requires Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to be firmly anchored.
We are convinced of this comprehensive approach and have been awarded the Green Button since spring 2020, undergoing regular audits.
OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100
One of the oldest and best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances; products are checked for chemicals that could potentially be harmful to health.
Limit values: Strict guidelines apply and must be complied with.
Consumer safety: We have been certifying our entire terry range according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 for a long time—even in Product Class I, which includes articles for babies.
