We at Floringo have expanded our range of services for the textile service industry to include a flexible delivery time concept. This allows us to provide ultra-short-term deliveries of 2–3 days, medium-term deliveries of approximately 6 weeks, and longer-term deliveries from the Far East – for an optimally balanced price.

This is how it works:

We keep proven terry series available with high target stock levels at our warehouse in Obersöchering. These can be delivered daily at short notice with minimal lead time. In addition, pre-woven towels, mats, bathrobes, and blankets are literally waiting for your order at the plant in Turkey and then only need to be bleached, dyed, or finished.

This enables us to deliver within 4 to 6 weeks under certain circumstances. This is also ensured by the constant rhythm of the truck fleet between Turkey and our location in Obersöchering, Upper Bavaria.

Optimal conditions through ideal scheduling and coordination

Deliveries from the Far East take significantly longer due to sea freight. However, for particularly price-conscious customers, they offer the advantage of being available at lower costs while maintaining a comparably high level of quality. The decisive criterion for this flexibility is optimal scheduling. We coordinate this individually with our major customers in a service-oriented manner, supported by modern warehouse tools.

In doing so, we respond to the procurement strategies of bulk consumers such as textile services:

"The tendency here is that for larger quantities in particular, scheduling is done further in advance, with the price being the primary focus," says Bernhard Egner, Managing Director of Floringo. We have been familiar with these requirements for years from large cruise lines, for whom we have developed a tailored service concept.

Days, weeks, months – urgency is key

"Orders that reach us with great urgency are fulfilled from our warehouse, where more than one million items are kept in stock," reports Bernhard Egner. A large part of the standard range as well as customer-specific top-sellers are housed in four warehouse halls.

"Customer-specific items and custom-made products required at short notice are produced in Turkey – and we can deliver the goods within approximately six weeks," says Bernhard Egner, explaining the second option based on the speed of customer-specific goods. "For companies, on the other hand, that plan long-term and give higher priority to the item price, we have expanded our production into the Far East region. The more favorable purchasing conditions there are, however, associated with significantly longer delivery times due to sea freight."

To ensure that different delivery batches impress with identical performance parameters regardless of the country of origin, we only select the most modern, highly qualified production facilities. Regardless of the location, hand and bath towels, terry robes, and bath mats are always manufactured according to the same specifications developed by us: as durable, wash-resistant, and soft institutional-grade terry.
